Enabling Blog This in IE

A few users have asked about 'Blog This' support in Windows Live Writer. When you install Writer, we also automatically add a 'Blog This' feature to Internet Explorer. It turns out, however, that if you have ever customized your command bar in IE, our button will not show up by default. Instead, you'll need to add it yourself. Here's a quick and hopefully simple set of steps to do just that.

1) First make sure that the button isn't just scrolled off the screen. Click the chevron on the right to see if the blog this command is there. If it is there, you can follow step 2-4 to move the button so it isn't scrolled off the command bar.

2) If the 'Blog This' command isn't there, right click on the command bar and choose 'Customize Command Bar>Add or Remove Commands'.

3) Find the 'Blog This' command and add it to the command bar. Note that you can also move the command up and down to scroll it back onto the toolbar, if necessary.

4) Once you've done this, the button should appear right on the toolbar!
